Deliveries and returns
Mainland UK deliveries
We make the vast majority of UK deliveries in our own low loader vans with our own staff. As soon as an order is placed we will be in touch to give you an expected delivery date. A week before we are due to deliver we will be in touch to confirm a convenient day and estimated time. We will always take the furniture to where you want it placed. As already detailed each piece of furniture is made as one whole piece (this includes our biggest tables) and it will all come direct from our factory wrapped in furniture blankets. We don’t use packaging, for all the best reasons.
When we first call please give us details of any obstacles to delivery such as narrow doorways, parking restrictions, roof terraces with no access to lifts etc. This is particularly important when we are delivering large tables. We have delivered furniture into the most inaccessible places imaginable but were able to do so because we had time to plan how to do it.
Delivery in all other territories
Deliveries in all other territories are undertaken by our delivery partners who undertake to make contact with our customers to arrange delivery. The cost of these deliveries is quoted independently and is based on the cubic meterage and weight of the delivery and its destination.
Returns
We accept returns for items that are purchasable directly online on this website ie for furniture from the choice of five metal colours and for furniture cushions any from the choice of five fabrics on the drop down selection.
Providing you are a domestic consumer, under the terms of The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after the day on which the goods were received, without giving a reason.
Cancellation must either be in the form of an email, letter or facsimile and sent to our address as listed in the ‘contact us’ section of the website. Since the process of cancellation is time sensitive and requires a clear record of correspondence, we strongly suggest you email your cancellation request to us at info@oxleys.com
Within 48 hours of sending your request, you will receive a confirmation email from us together with an outline of the process. If you have not received notification with the stated period, you should contact us on 01386 701894.
If you cancel your order under these provisions, then you will be responsible for returning the furniture to us in an as new condition or alternatively you will be responsible for our costs in collecting the furniture.
All items will be checked in our factory on return. Assuming the goods are returned as described above, the full price and standard delivery charge will be refunded within 14 days of receiving your returned item. Goods must be received by us within 14 days of the date of receipt by us of your notice to cancel.
We do not accept returns for any furniture that is individualised. This is because this furniture with its accompanying cushions is made specifically for your order to your exact requirements, it will be unique to you.
