Oxley’s was selected as the primary outdoor furniture partner for the 2019 opening of Grantley Hall, a 17th-century Palladian mansion turned premier five-star hotel. Over the last six years, we have provided bespoke seating and dining solutions across the estate’s 38 acres of formal gardens and Michelin-starred terraces.

The Brief & Challenge
As a Grade II* listed property, Grantley Hall required outdoor furniture that could bridge the gap between historic English heritage and ultra-modern luxury. The challenge was two-fold: first, to create distinct “zones” that felt cohesive yet unique; and second, to provide furniture capable of withstanding the high-volume use of a world-class hospitality environment and the unpredictable climate of the Yorkshire Dales.

The Solution
Working closely with the Sykes family and their design team, Oxley’s utilized a multi-collection approach to define each space. Our Luxor collection was heavily featured, with bespoke modifications to table shapes and dimensions and varied finishes to suit the specific ambiance of the bars and spa areas. For the more modern dining spaces, we specified the Sienna Collection, offering a sleek, contemporary silhouette. All were combined with their own unique fabrics and accented with Grantley Hall’s bespoke blankets for evening dining.
Our National Trust Octavia Collection was finished in a delicate Mint Blue while the intricate design details of the Luxor design were highlighted in our special classic finish style in Titanium. The contemporary profiles of the Sienna design were finished in a classic white to suit their more modern immediate surroundings.

Protecting the Investment
Crucially, in Spring 2025, Oxley’s demonstrated our commitment to sustainability and “circular” manufacturing. After six years of heavy customer use, we performed a full restoration service. The dining tables were collected, stripped back to their raw aluminium frames, and recoated in our Cotswolds factory, then returned within a week. This unique after-sales support ensures that Grantley Hall’s investment remains in pristine, five-star condition indefinitely.

Furniture Supplied

The Outcome
Grantley Hall remains a flagship example of how marine-grade aluminium furniture serves as a lifetime investment. The ability to refresh and restore the pieces, rather than replace them, aligns perfectly with the estate’s commitment to quality.
"Oxley's Furniture have been a key part of Grantley Hall's recent re-invention as a 5 star hotel. With guidance from Oxley's we have been able to create some world class areas around our gardens and terraces, in keeping with the 5 star nature of the project. We would definitely recommend Oxley's Furniture to anyone looking for extremely high quality products and personable attentive service."
Will Sykes, Grantley Hall
From initial bespoke design to our unique restoration service, we ensure your outdoor hospitality spaces remain five-star forever.
Oxley’s was commissioned to provide high-end poolside lounging for Kin House, a restored 17th-century Grade II listed manor in North Wiltshire. Working alongside the renowned Barlow & Barlow Interior Design, we supplied a mix of standard and bespoke loungers to complement the estate’s vibrant, eclectic aesthetic for the 2025 summer season.
The Creative Brief
The challenge for Kin House was to bridge the gap between the manor’s historic architecture and a fresh, contemporary pool area designed for high-end events, weddings, and private hire. Lucy Barlow of Barlow & Barlow required furniture that could withstand the high-traffic demands of a boutique hotel while maintaining a very specific colour palette.
The brief called for premium all-weather sun loungers that offered both individual relaxation and social “daybed” style seating, requiring a mix of standard manufacturing and bespoke fabrication.

The Solution
To meet the designer’s vision, Oxley’s utilized our signature powder-coated aluminium, ensuring the furniture is entirely rust-proof and durable enough for commercial hospitality use. While the single loungers were part of our core Octavia National Trust collection, we engineered bespoke double sun loungers to provide the generous proportions required for the pool’s focal points.
The frames were finished in two distinct, durable coatings: our refreshing Mint Blue and a new custom deep red that was selected from RAL samples. We loved this colour so much that Claret is now part of our core palette of high performance finishes. These were expertly by Lucy and her team with high-performance Pierre Frey outdoor fabrics, proving that luxury aesthetic and “marine-grade” durability can coexist seamlessly in an English garden setting.

The Outcome
The result is a striking, colourful poolside retreat that enhances the “fun-filled luxury” reputation of Kin House. By opting for luxury aluminium outdoor furniture, the venue is equipped with a long-term, low-maintenance solution that will retain its structural integrity and colour vibrancy through years of guest use and seasonal weather.
We were delighted with how the project turned out and we already have plans to supply this incredible venue and team with more outdoor furniture to support their parties and weddings.

This celebrated five-star London hotel is world renowned for its timeless neoclassic architecture and refined interiors. Synonymous with unparalleled comfort, service, and luxury, its distinguished outdoor space demanded the highest quality furniture that would reflect the same elegance and attention to detail.

Oxley’s were specified to supply our newly launched Scroll collection for the lower terrace at the start of 2022 and the furniture was installed in May of that year.
The luxuriously comfortable Lounge chairs and sofas were set out in groups on the edge of the dining space to complement the Armchair’s and tables which occupied the majority of the dining space. For the dining tables, the design team requested a custom design combining the Sienna 1100 table top with the Scroll 1120 table legs. All furniture was supplied in the Desert Sand finish and accompanied by cushions in Pistachio.

Dunesforde, in the Vale of York, is a four-acre, boutique vineyard established by the Townsend family in 2016. Inspired by the vineyards in Tuscany and the Roman heritage in the area, their first harvest was in November 2019 and in June 2020 the first wine went on sale. In July 2024 Dunesforde Vineyard won the Tom Day Trophy for the best single Varietal white wine for their Pinot Gris 2022 at the annual WineGB awards.

Oxley’s were originally contacted in November 2023 after the owners had seen our furniture at Grantley Hall, and a site visit followed in January 2024. Our Sienna Design was selected to suit the space with the owners specifying customised square tables, and our Desert Sand finish was chosen to complement the stone flooring of their beautiful new dining terrace.
With the Vineyard dining area due to open at the beginning of April, Oxley’s loaned additional pieces until the custom made furniture was ready at the beginning of May.

“Although it seemed like a big investment at the time, it’s (the furniture) been much admired by our customers and I’ve enjoyed seeing it every day”
Mandy Townsend, Dunesforde Vineyard Owner

Designed for those who seek the best in care, connection and city living, Inspír represents an evolution in senior living. Inspír Carnegie Hall is situated on 2nd Avenue in Manhattan’s Upper East Side and is purpose built as a community to blend elevated hospitality, world class wellness and a life well lived.

Oxley’s were approached to supply pieces from a number of our collections adapted for the particular needs of the residents. Our Octavia Armchairs were adjusted to add a few centimetres of extra depth for greater comfort for the elderly residents. Octavia pedestal tables, coffee tables, and sun loungers were also provided, as well as our Grande Lounge Chairs.

We completed the furniture in cushions in a myriad of textiles from fabric houses including JAB ® International, Kravet, Perennials, and cord from Samuel & Sons. The finished cushions were particularly bright and colourful and are an interesting visual contrast to the minimalist and subdued aesthetic of the overall design of the building. Much of the furniture is distributed along a beautiful balcony providing incredible views over Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

On the Carbis Bay cliffs near St Ives, Cornwall, Boskerris Hotel is a small, contemporary coastal retreat with a relaxed Mediterranean sensibility. Privately run since its construction in 1931, the hotel has been thoughtfully transformed over time. With panoramic views across St Ives Bay, the hotel offers an elegant, quietly luxurious base from which to enjoy this striking stretch of the Cornish coastline.

Oxley’s were approached by the owners as part of a wider refresh of their expansive decked terrace, the hotel’s primary outdoor vantage point. Our Artemis collection was selected for its refined profile and ability to complement the hotel’s light, contemporary aesthetic. Finished in Desert Sand and paired with an off-white canvas cushions, the furniture provides a calm, durable, and design-led seating arrangement that sits comfortably within the hotel’s Mediterranean-inspired palette.
