In collaboration with the National Trust, the Octavia 160cm round table is designed to seat up to eight with ease, providing a generous yet elegant centrepiece for terraces, patios, or garden spaces. Its expansive, deeply cast tabletop offers visual depth and strength, ensuring the table feels substantial without overwhelming its surroundings. This size balances practicality and presence, making it ideal for both intimate and celebratory outdoor dining. The table top will come as a solid top as standard but can be finished with a parasol hole in the centre at your request.
DESIGN
Named after Octavia Hill, one of the founding members of the National Trust, the Octavia design is inspired by a detail in an 1872 pen and ink drawing of an herbaceous border by the nineteenth-century garden designer Gertrude Jekyll. The floral motif is faithfully reinterpreted in cast aluminium across the tabletop, producing intricate detailing that complements the collection’s disciplined, decorative language. The table retains the refined character of the English garden while asserting itself as a considered and enduring design.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
Like all our English garden furniture our Octavia tables are handmade from recycled aluminium. Each piece is constructed as one over numerous hours from many individual sand castings. Once complete each table is individually finished in our customer’s own choice of colour. All the effort in our factory goes into ensuring that each piece is totally weatherproof, wherever in the world it is situated, and completely maintenance free. Everything we create is intended to last generations.
